Kat is a 25 year old Brisraelian muso. From the dusty red-brown desert of Cobar, as a child she played a lot of He-Man with her brothers & dedicated her infancy to promoting nudism in outback NSW. Failing this she spent most of her life in Wagga Wagga, which was followed by a brief but torrid love affair with Melbourne from 2002. In Melbourne she studied International Studies, which mostly involved playing guitar, finding a dog & discovering beer. She has also worked as a singer/dancer/muso overseas & at festivals & venues around Melbourne & Brisbane.

Kat has been writing music for about 7 years: folk-rock, indie, alt-country acoustic tunes influenced by red kelpies, dusty boots & old records. These days she performs original songs, solo & acoustic (often with guest musicians) on guitar, banjo, mouth harp. Kat likes to tap her feet & sing her arse off. Moving to Brisbane in 2006 chasing the sun, she now studies Law, plays gigs, & busks in the subway.
