Sidonie studied Science, Coastal Management, then Arts with a Double Architecture /Town Planning Major. She has a love of the outdoors, plants and the environment. She  extended her studies to a Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture and Horticulture.

She has run her own Landscape and Horticultural consulting business for the past 14 years. She was awarded an ISSI & Pratt Foundation, Specialised Skills Fellowship in 2006, to travel & study the design, implementation & benefits of green roofs and living walls.

Currently she is the President of Green Roofs Australia Inc. and is involved in writing green roof standards & training programs for Australia, and in the development & promotion of the environmental benefits, while providing effective strategies for the design & implementation of green roofs and Living walls in Australian cities.
