Scott Elsom is an investor and developer of sustainable residential dwellings. During the 1990's Scott and his wife Sandie began experimenting with the incorporation of more sustainable features in their investment properties.  Convinced that there was only one way to create a viable market for more sustainable housing, Scott's focus since 2000 has been on finding ways of creating more environmentally responsible homes that are cost effective to build and live in.  As the Managing Director of SALA Homes, a leading manufacturer of affordable, sustainable kit homes, and developer of The Green - an environmentally responsible retirement village on Brisbane's Southside, Scott is using the same methods used to produce sustainable houses to weave sustainable business practices into these businesses.  

In fact, sustainable business practices, and the accurate monitoring of them, are as integral to the businesses as the products that they produce.
