Having just released her debut self-produced recording, Georgia delivers fresh folk, philosophy & soul, lead by a powerful vocal freedom & a sassy, yet sincere stage manor. Whether performing with her band or in the timeless singer/songwriter style, she blends intimacy, melody & groove with an explosive sense of narrative.

Georgia’s debut album ‘Living the Grey’ was written, performed, recorded, produced and released in January 2009. Stylistically a mixture of folk, soul, roots and occasionally reggae & hip-hop, the recording shifts between the timeless singer/songwriter style to a groove-heavy full band sound.

Teaming lush production with intimate, close & raw performances, Georgia’s standout vocal delivers fresh perspectives on issues of cultural identity, tradition, love and loss, balancing criticism & optimism, poetry & melody, humour & humanity, culminating in a record that is both hard-hitting & mellow.
