Sustainable Insight is Australian online sustainability and environmental bookstore, boasting a wide range of books, DVDs and educational resources covering topics including sustainability, organic living, gardening, agriculture, climate change, self-sufficiency and environmental management.

The range consists predominantly of Australian titles as they are most relevant to Australia's climate, conditions and way of life; however there is also a broad range of well-known international titles, ensuring customers have access to the books and educational resources they are looking for.

As we believe strongly in the importance of education and encouraging the adoption of more sustainable new technologies and practices, we have also set up the Sustainable Insight Investment Fund, which contributes 50c from the sale of each book towards sustainability initiatives with a focus on supporting organisations involved in promoting education.

At Greenfest this year, Sustainable Insight will have an extensive range of books on sale, along with fun activities including trivia  sessions quizzing your knowledge on all things sustainable and for the little ones, enjoy story time with the green book fairy. Story Time with the Green Book Fairy

Bring your children along to story time with the Green Book Fairy where they can learn about what they see and use on a day to day basis that impacts on our environment. These interactive sessions will allow your children to get a hand-on idea of little things they can do such as, switching off their electronic toys and recycling to help look after our planet.

Saturday

• 11am - 11.30am: Look after your Planet - Charlie and Lola (recommended for ages 2-5 years)
• 2.30pm - 3.00pm: Earth Smart: How to take care of the environment (recommended ages 5-10 years)

"Eco Wizz" Quiz Sessions

We invite all visitors to Greenfest to see how much they know about the planet and ways we can reduce our impact on it. Come along and test your knowledge with some tricky and not-so-tricky trivia questions. Everyone who enters will receive a lucky dip prize and also go into the running to win our major book prize pack valued at $150!
