SPIRAL Community Hub works towards building just and sustainable local communities. A core part of SPIRAL's work is to build capacity of the most marginalised in the community to develop sustainable livelihood. SPIRAL facilitates community enterprise development to create employment and financial literacy programs to assist the most disadvantaged in the community to develop financial security. Success in these programs aims to contribute to overcoming social inequity.

Currently SPIRAL is running a local community gardening program, developing a local micro-finance program, is operating a savings and credit project and is active on local development issues.

SPIRAL operates a Community Enterprise Hub, currently running a fair trade shop – Justice Products www.justiceproducts.org.au, developing an eco building enterprise with the local Indigenous community and supporting the development of a catering and restaurant enterprise run by women from a refugee background.
