The Medics are a Cairns based indie band, established in early 2007. The Medics as a band have a large range of musical sounds form quiet ambience to epic build ups and breakdowns.

As a band, The Medics have acquired a large fan base in Townsville and Cairns, and word of this talented band is creeping South, having toured with 'Something & Numbers' up the East Coast.

The five piece band consisting of keyboards, 2 guitars, bass guitar, drums and 4 piece vocal harmonys really knows how to write their songs around the strengths of each member.

The Medics (Emma Andrews, Jhindu Lawrie, Charles Thomas, Andrew Thomson and Kahl Wallace) have garnered NQ acclaim as an energetic young band that also writes inseghtful songs. The band is rapidly gaining a reputation across Queensland for their unique song writing style and their intense live performances.

The Medics have played many shows including support shows for The Panics, The Grates, Famer, Blue King Brown, Scribe, Kisschasey, Amity Affliction, Behind Crimson Eyes, Something With Numbers, City Riots and also many other upcoming Australian bands.
