The Sunshine Reggae Band formed in 2001.  The band members, Terry Marshall, Kieran Multa, Jeffrey Zimran, Joseph Zimran, and Patrick Multa live in the Central Australian community of Ikunji, 300km West of Alice Springs. 

Sunshine Reggae play their desert reggae-driven songs in both Luritja and English with themes often about their homeland and country, Dreamtime, and staying healthy. 

Now based in Ikunji the band has played at the Alice Desert Festival and toured with the Melbourne based band The Basics up to Darwin.   

In 2004 they released their debut album entitled Watjliarrinyi which means homesick in Luritja.

Recently East Coast musician George Bishop from the Andi and George Band moved out to Ikunji and has started playing music with The Sunshine Reggae Band.
