'I tried “environmentally friendly” detergents, but they left sludge in my machine,’ says Cheryl, ‘and I wondered what effect the residue left on the clothes was having on my skin. After using the Enviro Washball I noticed the eczema I had suffered for years was almost gone, and a visit to a skin specialist confirmed this.’

A horticulturist by trade, Cheryl was also uncomfortable using recycled grey water on her garden knowing the detergents left behind in the water were not good for the plants, soil or, ultimately, Australia’s waterways. ‘Now Penny and I don’t hesitate to use our grey water,’ says Cheryl.
