The Wells are a five-piece Indie Rock Band that started gigging around Brisbane mid 2005. Originally form Lismore the boys perform original material (written by brothers Ben & Josh Eckersley) which displays great pop sensibility with big dirty smears of Blues and Country. Their focus on vocal harmonies and catchy melodic hooks add a great depth to the band’s overall appeal, as their densely layered instrumentation enriches each song. The Wells have supported Something For Kate, Gaslight Radio and The Basics and have also played at Brisbane’s Valley Fiesta and Woodford Folk Festival. The Wells have released their first EP which is available through Rocking Horse Records in Brisbane.
