Create with Acclaimed Artists at Greenfest!
Internationally acclaimed Aboriginal Artist, Shane Hansen Yondee is one of many featured artists to appear at Greenfest, 10 – 12 October at South Bank, Brisbane.
Originally from Western Australia and now based in Brisbane, Shane has works located in galleries throughout Queensland, interstate, and even abroad, within the United States and Ireland, to name a few.
At Greenfest, “Yondee” will lead public participation in one of 5 areas dedicated to an interactive art festival sponsored by Excel Events. The workshops will be also supported by three additional artists:-

Shane says the core message of his artwork is to convey to people the importance of ‘getting back in touch with the land’ and strives to depict the stories and legends of his people passed onto him from his father. He hopes Greenfest will give him the opportunity to talk with people about these core messages.
